This series of inkjet prints and video are meant to be viewed together. Forces are applied to the pixels in each photo, causing their gradual displacement in each successive frame. What fascinates me is the textural beauty of the still, and the completely different “time based” textural beauty of the video. The artwork is meant to be displayed either as archival inkjet prints (with or without augmented reality), or within immersive projection environments.
